Exploring a variety of methods using lighting, texture, movement, and color to establish a fluid feel as a constant recurring energy.

While much of this process was done in Cinema 4D/Houdini, a great amount was done practically as well. Incorporating practical footage and lighting, created with household materials, done in-camera with a cloud tank and laptop. While the other half was focused on experimenting with Optical Flow in Houdini, taking the 2D pixel data from footage that was shot practically, and turning it into volume data.
